Today is World Food Day

Although we're all so focused on the pandemic and the election, we can't forget about the basic need to feed people.

One in five people are hungry.

The numbers are even worse for children.

Rep. Tom Reed has fallen terribly short, and it's become more severe because of the pandemic, the economic crisis and rampant unemployment In 2018, Reed held up the farm bill because he wanted to reduce food stamps. Unbelievable.

I'm proud of our district's many non-profits who are taking on this extra burden, and I'm glad people like Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand are actually working on getting something out to the people.

There are too many politicians in Washington who give lip service to hunger and then go out to fancy dinners. With your help, we can send one home. Chip in $3 today and send a fighter to D.C. on behalf of NY-23.

There are people all over the district and country who are in real, constant need, who are not being attended to by members of Congress, our congressman among them.
