πŸ’― Years!

Today, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of women earning the right to vote, but we must also remember the century of activism that came before the 19th Amendment and more importantly perhaps, the century of activism that came after it.

We must reawaken that heroic and persistent spirit as our fight continues, especially today. Our voices and our very votes are being targeted by forces intent on silencing us. Nothing should be taken for granted.

Protect your voice! Protect your vote!

Starting at the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention, the movement did not end with the 19th Amendment but continued through the Indian Citizenship Act and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. In honor of the 100 years of the 19th Amendment, we're collecting campaign donations in $19.00 increments. Will you help us celebrate the empowerment of women with a $19.00 donation today?

Even today, in the middle of a pandemic that Donald Trump helped fuel, his administration continues its assault on our right to vote by slowing the mail system and then urging Republican state legislatures to stop counting slow-moving ballots that remain uncounted on Election Day.

If Trump is right and the undermining of our elections helps him, it also helps fellow Republican Tom Reed, who has done nothing to stop it. It's time to stand up and fight back: chip in $19.00 today.
